After leaving my job and spending a few glorious days thawing out in Mexico, I absconded to Los Angeles to bum around for a bit and to spend the first few days of my new job somewhere warm and different. I’ve written about this and how great it was in bits and pieces, but what I haven’t written about is that West LA felt like an absolute revelation.
