July wrapped: 15 books I read and 5 recs for you!
Summer's buzziest books, an impulse buy and a great guide to shopping vintage.
Ahoy! July felt about 100 years long, and thank god it did— I already have that icky panic in my stomach that I get when summer nears its end. Only one month left here on the beach… the idea of going back to the city… 🥴
This was a HUGE month for reading and recs. 🌸 Before we get into things, I’d like to share this guide to how we can all get aid directly to Gazans, who are dying of starvation because of a genocidal regime. I love World Central Kitchen’s work in the area— they were who I donated our Bake Sale funds to!—and I’m trying something new this month and donating through Gaza Soup Kitchen and Dignity for Palestine.
My DMs are open if you have ideas as to how we could raise money as a community the way we did with the bake sale. In the meantime, please share however you can.
