Happy Saturday! I’m headed home to California for Thanksgiving today and am very excited to be warm and surrounded by family and friends. I hope something similarly delightful is in store for you this weekend!

I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for a break. Cozying up, reading a book, drinking a seasonal beverage, no computer in sight… it sounds so amazing I could melt. I just finished a book my friend Becca Freeman has been singing the praises of and hyping up— The Force of Such Beauty— and I agree with her that it hasn’t gotten enough attention.

Excited to share my November reading wrap up after Thanksgiving weekend, but I’m deciding between two books to read next and I’d love your two cents… should I start Ariel Sullivan’s Conform? Or the sequel to Quicksilver, Callie Hart’s Brimstone?
