π sorry did not mean to leave you hanging!! i was going to wax poetic about it in my reading round up later this month-- I read Bring Up the Bodies by Hilary Mantel. It's not exactly summer reading and it's the sequel to Wolf Hall, so not a totally casual pick up... but I recommend for when you have time and capacity to pick up a long, literary GOAT.
It is not an easy read, so be forewarned! Bring Up the Bodies was MUCH faster and tighter, but I do think you can't appreciate it or make sense of it without Wolf Hall first.
