Today I am writing about STYLE. (Fun fact: I almost went to fashion school after high school and am still thinking about it over a decade later.1) I think fashion and interiors are so deeply linked, especially when we’re just as likely (perhaps even more?) to share interiors on social media as we are our outfits of the day. (Think of Hill House Home starting with preppy bedding and now being extremely famous for making apparel.) Home and kitchen are certainly the areas where I have professional expertise or proficiency, but the weirdness I’ve been noticing has really been in fashion fashion, and I think it says something about the economy, millennials, and what we yearn for as a country and a culture.
